Thank you for visiting Us. We are happy to welcome you to our webpage and hopeful that you will partake in our purpose. Happy Hope Dolls was born out of a desire to combine our love for our children and our passion to create.
Who are we ? – we are a bunch of ordinary people who have chosen to approach parenting differently. We have come together from different parts of the country united in our passion to ‘thread the needle’. Yes, we love all things needlework related – from weaving, to sewing, to crochet and knitting. Happy Hope Dolls believes that playing with the right kind of dolls in the early years can have a profound effect on the future adult that lies deep within our child.
At the start of every season we bring to you a catalogue of dolls that we have made ourselves with love and warmth. Each doll is unique and like no other. Made of many moods; some dolls are asking for love with their tender eyes, some are small enough to snuggle up and hide in your pocket, some want to go off on an adventure with you and some are babies asking little hands to cradle them and wander off to dreamland.
As our name suggests, we are Happy Hope Dolls – Handmade with a Purpose, and that purpose is to reach out to small organisations that work with children in need. Through the sale of our dolls we hope to contribute financially to these organisations in whatever small way we can.
MONSOON SALE ENDS
Our Monsoon Sale has ended. We had partnered with Voice of Slum for our Monsoon Sale. We have sold many of the dolls we stitched and we are grateful for all the support that people have shown to this initiative. We will be back soon with our next seasonal sale. Stay Tuned! Voice of Slum is an NGO that works for children from the slums since 2016. The organization endeavors to educate and impart life skills to slum children so that they can be a part of mainstream society. Voice of Slum was founded by two young individuals Chandni Di who grew up in a slum and Dev Pratap who ran away from home at the age of 11 lived in railway stations and who was a drug addict. The inspiration and motivation behind starting the organization was the lived experience of Chandni and Dev’s struggles. .
We are thrilled to partner with Voice of Slum for our MONSOON SALE .
They represent the pillars of what is important for us at Happy Hope Dolls – our love for Children and the desire to create responsible adults that will shape our future through collective action.
