Sparkle Sundays
I enjoy telling my child stories, and most often than not I always use props and we have a bit of fun with it. Sparkle Sundays is my little way of bringing our story magic to you. In most waldorf storytelling the elements used are simple without much detail. This is to enable the child’s imagination to flow through as he or she takes the story into their soul. Story telling is such an important element in the development of the child between birth and age 7.
Sparkle Sundays is my way of trying to bring stories to our children everywhere. To begin with, Merrily Ever After brings enlivened story telling to our children in Mumbai. The medium of story telling is English. In the early part of 2022, I will also be taking story telling in our regional languages to children on our streets and slums in Mumbai. If anyone would like to volunteer their time, please write to me at info@magicplayhouse.in. Another initiative in 2022 will be online story telling puppet shows for children everywhere in the country.

After 6 enriching years in the corporate world, she chose to be a full-time mother with the birth of her son. Creative by nature, parenthood has led her to do much more, thus helping her discover herself, her kids, and her interests. After completing a certificate course in AMI Montessori Assistants Training from RTI, she also invested time in the basics of Steiner Education from a well known waldorf school in Mumbai.Meryl has also trained to be a music teacher for Music in Measures, conducting music classes for mothers and toddlers.
